Meditation
Meditation is a technique in which the mind is focused on a thought or object. The whole attention is diverted toward that thought or object and a relaxed state of consciousness is achieved. Performing simple rituals like becoming aware of your breath, listening to music, visualizing something in your mind and chanting a mantra are all examples of meditation. When you meditate, the thought processes cease, the mind calms down leading to achievement of a state of liberation and experience of inner happiness.
